At first glance, this movie isn’t an obvious candidate for costume recognition. Aside from Ralphie’s well-known pink bunny nightmare and Randy’s tomb of red down, most of the colors, textures, patterns, and especially accessories often go unnoticed and unappreciated. That’s why we’ve decided to select and post some of our favorite looks from the movie here. While there’s some obviously wonderful headgear to smile at, give some special attention to the great coat textures, collars, mittens, and scarves.

Orange you glad we didn’t say “Nailed it”?

Whether you’re a tough gal, lover of quirk, or were a fan of “Home Improvement” (JTT – le swoon), the “On the Head Ring” is a unique and fun approach to decorating your finger.

Quick! What’s the opposite of a double rainbow? Yeah, we’re tired of that pop culture reference too, but we’re never tired of Mr. Black, Ms. White, and their baby Grey.

P.S. Are you ready for us to launch yet? We’re almost there!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you for following our blog! You are very appreciated, and we hope that you have/will continue to have much to be thankful for.

P.S. Don’t these colors remind you of construction paper your 1st grade teacher would hand out during this time of year to make hand turkeys?

On Re-Pleat!

Pardon the pun.

We’re com-pleat-ly in love with these three (we promise that was the last one). From left to right, our model Eunice is wearing the Willow Maxi Dress in moss, Pretty Pleats Trousers in squirrel, and the Pleated Harness Dress in royal blue.

It’s safe to say that this trend goes beyond “librarian chic” and Cher Horowitz.

The Orissa Bangle

We’ve got an exciting weekend ahead of us, but we’ll share more about that later. Right now, we’d like to introduce the Orissa Bangle – brand new to Misha Code! Wear all three versions (bronze, silver, copper) together or wear one separately for a nice, subtle sparkle.

"The Artist"

Hollywood 1927. George Valentin (Jean Dujardin) is a silent movie superstar. The advent of the talkies will sound the death knell for his career and see him fall into oblivion. For young extra Peppy Miller (Berenice Bejo), it seems the sky’s the limit – major movie stardom awaits. THE ARTIST tells the story of their interlinked destinies.

1920's fashion is enough to get ourselves in the theater.
